For over 25 years, Roam Marine has been a leading provider of engineering solutions in the marine industry, committed to quality and innovation in every project.

Our history

Roam Marine began in 1998 operating as part of ROAM Engineering. In 2010, Roam Marine split from Roam Engineering. Over the following 15 years, Roam Marine has partnered with clients applying specialist expertise to design, construction and consulting solutions for port and marine infrastructure.

2023 marked a turning point for Roam Marine with current owner taking proprietorship of the company. Since then Roam Marine has expanded their outreach completing projects all across Australia including Broome Darwin, and Melbourne. At the end of 2025, Roam Marine played a vital role in the completion of its largest project to date, the $200 million Kimberley Marine Support Base located in the Port of Broome for TAMS Group.

Over the years, Roam Marine has built a reputation as a pragmatic, long-standing, specialist team that delivers safe, quality engineering solutions for a wide variety of marine projects.

Glenn Brown

Managing Director

Glenn brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in marine, mining and civil engineering, having built a career spanning almost 40 years. His extensive career includes nearly 25 years with Worly, delivering large oil and gas projects in the Asia- Pacific region.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) and Masters in Engineering Science at Monash University.

Stephen Farran

Lead Structural Designer

Stephen has been involved in the engineering industry for over 40 years as a Lead/Senior Structural Designer with experience in oil and gas, mining and marine environments.

Mahshid Mosadegh

Senior Structural Designer

Mahshid is a highly experienced Structural designer with over 25 years of international experience in offshore, subsea, marine, onshore, and renewable energy projects across the oil & gas, mining, and energy sectors in Australia and abroad.

She is a qualified Structural Engineer, holds a master's degree in project management, and is a PMP® certified professional.
